The wine only sees 6 hours of skin contact and is fermented in stainless steel to balance the fruit components with crisp acidity. Perfect for warm summer days and nights on the patio.Produced by the saignée method from Cabernet Franc XL Vineyard and Grenache Taptiel Vineyard.

2015 Walla Walla Cabernet Franc: This wine is sourced from one of our favorite growers in Walla Walla, XL Vineyards. Like past vintages it easily stands on its own, without requiring other varietals for blending, and really proves how good Washington Cabernet Franc can be. A slightly floral nose is followed by smooth and well integrated flavors of Bing cherry, sweet oak, and mocha. Approachable now, it can best be appreciated after a couple years of cellaring and will easily evolve over the next 5 to 7 years
XL Vineyards Cabernet Franc is surrounded by the ragged eastern border formed by the Blue Mountains and accented by a valley that flattens out as it extends West. With an elevation of 1,050 to 1,250 ft, XL Vineyards is among the the most prestigious vineyards in the region. One neighboring vineyard is Seven Hills.
XL Vineyards are members of Vinea and are certified Salmon Safe.

Intense ruby color and deep red berry flavors develop on the palate. Lively acidity provides length, and the typical focused Walla Walla tannins offer weight and depth to the structure. Exotic spice notes such as nutmeg, mocha, and oak nuance enrich the finish.
2013 Walla Walla Valley Cabernet: The wine exhibits fully developed flavors and vivid acidity. Again this wine is sourced from Seven Hills Vineyard in Walla Walla’s newest AVA The Rocks. Aged 20 months in French Oak, 75% new, the nose carries hints of vanilla and warm spice. This is followed by concentrated black cherry fruit and finishes with lingering coffee notes.
2017 Red Mountain Grenache: We are excited to source these grapes from Taptiel Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA of the Columbia Valley. This 100% Grenache starts with a subtle earthy nose. It is medium bodied with beautiful garnet color and candied plum notes. The finish lingers on hints of leather and tar. It will cellar beautifully and will reward your patience with another year or two of bottle age
2014 Walla Walla Merlot: Sourced from Pepper Bridge Vineyard and Les Collines Vineyard. Intense ruby color and deep red berry flavors develop on the palate. Lively acidity provides length, and the typical focused Walla Walla tannins offer weight and depth to the structure. Spice notes such as nutmeg and mocha enrich the finish.
